Job Description:
An urgent recruitment opportunity is available for 6 Oilers to join tanker vessel operations. The successful candidates will assist the engine department with machinery operation, routine maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and general engine-room duties while maintaining high safety and operational standards onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with the operation and monitoring of main and auxiliary machinery.
Carry out routine lubrication, cleaning, and maintenance of engine-room equipment.
Assist with planned maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs.
Monitor machinery condition and report defects or abnormalities.
Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all engine-room safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Oiler
Tanker vessel experience preferred
Valid Oiler certification/COP as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
