Oiler for Oil Products Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

An urgent recruitment opportunity is available for an experienced Oiler onboard an Oil Products Tanker flying the Comoros flag. The vessel was built in 2016 and has a GRT of 2,998.

The Oiler will assist the engineering team with engine room watchkeeping, machinery maintenance, and general engine department duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting engineers with daily engine room operations.
• Monitoring machinery and equipment during assigned watches.
• Carrying out cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance.
• Assisting with machinery inspections and minor repairs.
• Maintaining engine room cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates and relevant engine department qualifications.
• Previous Oil Products Tanker experience required.
• Previous experience in the same rank is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
