Oiler for Oil Chemical Tanker / VLGC Vessels

Job Description

Stella Marris Shipmanagement Inc. is hiring an experienced Oiler for an Oil/Chemical Tanker / VLGC Vessels. The Oiler will support the engine department with machinery watchkeeping, lubrication, maintenance, cleaning, and general engine-room operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with engine-room rounds and machinery monitoring.
• Carry out lubrication and routine maintenance tasks.
• Support engineers during machinery inspections and repairs.
• Maintain engine-room equipment, tools, and working areas.
• Follow engine-room safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Oiler experience
• Relevant engine-room experience
• Experience on Oil/Chemical or VLGC Vessels is an advantage
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Proficiency in English communication
