Job Description:
Global Gateway is seeking an experienced Oiler to join an Oil / Chemical Tanker. The successful candidate will support the engine department with routine maintenance, machinery operations, and general engine room duties in accordance with vessel procedures and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the engineering team with routine engine room operations and maintenance.
Support the operation, inspection, and upkeep of machinery and equipment.
Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and general engine room tasks as directed.
Report equipment defects or abnormalities to the responsible engineering officer.
Follow all onboard safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
Relevant experience as an Oiler.
Previous Oil / Chemical Tanker experience preferred.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid seafarer documentation.
Good English communication skills.
