Oiler for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Stella Marris Shipmanagement Inc. is recruiting an Oiler to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The successful candidate will assist the engineering officers with machinery maintenance, lubrication, engine-room inspections, and watchkeeping duties to support the safe and reliable operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Lubricate and inspect engine-room machinery.
• Assist with routine maintenance and machinery cleaning.
• Monitor equipment conditions and report abnormalities.
• Support engineering officers during repairs and servicing.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and comply with safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Seaman's Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous experience as an Oiler on Oil/Chemical Tankers is preferred.
• Relevant tanker familiarization and safety training as applicable.
