Job Description:
The Oiler is responsible for assisting in the operation, maintenance, and lubrication of the ship’s engines and auxiliary machinery under supervision of engineering officers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor engine parameters and record daily readings.
• Lubricate moving parts and check oil levels.
• Assist engineers during maintenance and overhauls.
• Ensure cleanliness of the engine room.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates and Engine Room Watch Rating (ERW).
• Minimum 1 year experience as Oiler or Wiper.
• Good understanding of engine systems.
• English communication skills required.
Employment Details:
• Contract Duration: 6–9 months.
• Salary: Based on experience, as per international scales.
