Oiler for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is seeking an experienced Oiler for an LPG Tanker Vessel. The Oiler will assist the engineering department with engine-room watchkeeping, machinery maintenance, lubrication, and routine technical duties to support safe vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Carry out routine lubrication, cleaning, and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor machinery and report abnormalities to engineering officers.
• Assist with machinery inspections, repairs, and servicing.
• Maintain a clean and safe engine-room environment.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as an Oiler.
• Valid STCW certificates applicable to rank.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• LPG or gas carrier experience is an advantage.
• Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong awareness of engine-room safety procedures.
