Oiler for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is recruiting an Oiler for an LPG Tanker Vessel. The Oiler will assist the engine department with routine machinery operations, maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and engine-room watchkeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting engineers with engine-room operations and maintenance.
• Lubricating machinery and monitoring equipment condition.
• Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties in the engine room.
• Supporting planned maintenance and repair activities.
• Maintaining safe working practices in the engine department.

Requirements

• Previous Oiler experience on merchant vessels.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and relevant certificates.
