Job Description:
FOSCON is urgently hiring 1 Oiler (OLR) to join an LNG Vessel. The successful candidate will support the engine department with routine maintenance, machinery monitoring, lubrication, cleaning, and general engine-room duties while maintaining high safety and operational standards onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with the operation and monitoring of main and auxiliary machinery.
Carry out routine lubrication, cleaning, and maintenance of engine-room equipment.
Assist with planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Monitor machinery condition and report any abnormalities to the engineering team.
Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all engine-room safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Oiler (OLR)
LNG Vessel experience preferred/required
Valid Oiler certification/COP
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
Availability for urgent deployment
