Oiler for General Cargo Vessel

Job Description

PT Nesia Cipta Akasah is recruiting an Oiler (III/5) for a General Cargo Vessel of approximately 18,000 GRT. The Oiler will support the engine department with routine machinery monitoring, lubrication, maintenance, cleaning, and other engine-room duties under the supervision of engineering officers.

The vessel operates with an 11/5 crew structure, with joining planned for the end of October.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with routine engine-room maintenance and machinery monitoring.
• Carrying out lubrication and cleaning of machinery and equipment.
• Supporting engineers during maintenance and repair operations.
• Monitoring machinery and reporting abnormalities to engineering officers.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safe working conditions in the engine room.

Requirements

• Valid III/5 Oiler certification.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seafarer’s Book and passport.
• Relevant engine-room experience on General Cargo or similar vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
