Job Description
LT Marine Offshore Services, Inc. is urgently seeking an experienced Oiler (OLR) to join a General Cargo Vessel.
Applicants must have relevant sea-service experience in the position applied for and be prepared for immediate deployment.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist the engineering team with routine machinery operations.
- Carry out cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and maintenance duties in the engine room.
- Support Engineers during maintenance and repair activities.
- Monitor machinery spaces and report defects or abnormalities.
- Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant sea-service experience as Oiler.
- General cargo vessel experience preferred.
- Valid seafarer documentation.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Recommendation/appraisal reports are an advantage.
