Job Description:
Synergy Group is currently recruiting experienced Oilers to join General Cargo vessels. The Oiler will assist the engineering team with machinery operation, routine maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and other engine-room duties to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with routine engine-room maintenance and machinery operations.
Carry out lubrication and cleaning of machinery and equipment.
Monitor machinery and report abnormalities to the responsible engineer.
Assist during repairs, overhauls, and planned maintenance.
Maintain a clean and safe engine-room working environment.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Relevant experience as an Oiler onboard General Cargo or similar vessels.
Good knowledge of engine-room safety procedures.
