Job Description

Solpia Marine is seeking experienced Oilers for its merchant fleet. The Oiler will support the engineering department with machinery watchkeeping, lubrication, cleaning, maintenance, and general engine-room operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineering officers with machinery operation and maintenance.
• Carry out lubrication and routine engine-room maintenance.
• Monitor machinery and report abnormalities.
• Assist with planned and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and safe working conditions.

Requirements

• Relevant Oiler experience.
• Experience on the applicable vessel type.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Good English communication skills.
