Job Description:
Candano Shipping Lines, Inc. is urgently hiring an experienced Oiler for domestic vessel operations. The successful candidate will assist the engineering team with the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of machinery and equipment in the engine room.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with the operation and routine maintenance of engine-room machinery.
Monitor machinery, pumps, generators, and auxiliary equipment.
Carry out lubrication, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks.
Assist with inspections and report equipment abnormalities to engineering officers.
Maintain a clean and safe engine-room working environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Oiler preferred
Valid Oiler certification/COP as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid and complete seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Willingness to work on domestic routes
Available for ASAP joining
