Oiler for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is recruiting an experienced Oiler for a Container Vessel. The Oiler will assist the engineering department with machinery watchkeeping, lubrication, cleaning, maintenance, and general engine-room operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist engineers with machinery operation and maintenance.
• Perform routine lubrication and cleaning.
• Monitor machinery and report abnormalities.
• Assist during planned and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Relevant Oiler experience.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Container Vessel experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
