Oiler for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Navilands Marine Inc. is urgently recruiting an experienced Oiler for its Container Carrier fleet.

The Oiler will support the engine department with machinery watchkeeping, lubrication, cleaning, maintenance, and general engine-room duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with engine-room rounds and machinery monitoring.
• Carry out lubrication and routine maintenance tasks.
• Support engineers during maintenance and repair activities.
• Maintain engine-room machinery and working areas.
• Follow engine-room safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Oiler experience
• Relevant engine-room experience
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant Container Carrier experience preferred
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Valid US Visa preferred
• Good English communication skills
