Job Description:
Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is looking for an experienced Oiler to join a Container Carrier Vessel engaged in domestic trade. The successful candidate will assist the engine department with routine machinery operations, maintenance, cleaning, and monitoring of engine-room equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting engineers with routine engine-room operations.
- Monitoring and lubricating machinery and equipment.
- Carrying out cleaning and maintenance duties in the engine room.
- Assisting with machinery inspections and repairs.
- Following onboard safety procedures and engine-room regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Oiler onboard vessels.
- Experience on Container Carrier Vessels is an advantage.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Medical fitness certificate.
- Valid seafarer documents.
- Proficiency in English communication.
