Job Description
An established maritime employer is seeking an experienced Oiler to join Chemical / c Tankers for the September/October 2026 deployment.
The Oiler will assist the engine department with routine machinery operations, maintenance, cleaning, and monitoring of engine-room equipment under the direction of the engineering officers.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with routine engine-room operations and machinery monitoring.
- Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Support engineers and fitters during maintenance and repair activities.
- Monitor equipment and report abnormalities to the responsible engineer.
- Maintain engine-room cleanliness and comply with safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Oiler
- Chemical / Product MR Tanker experience is advantageous
- Relevant engine-room experience
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid medical fitness certificate
- Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
- Good English communication skills
- Availability for September/October 2026 deployment
