Job Description:
SSM Maritime Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Oiler to join a Bulk / General Cargo Vessel. The successful candidate will assist the engine department with routine maintenance and safe operation of machinery and equipment onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the engine department with routine maintenance.
- Monitoring and maintaining machinery and equipment as instructed.
- Performing cleaning and housekeeping duties in the engine room.
- Supporting engineers during maintenance and repair work.
- Following onboard safety procedures and company regulations.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as an Oiler.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
