Job Description

Benteng Marine Services is recruiting an experienced Oiler to join a Bulk Carrier vessel operating worldwide.

The successful candidate will assist the engineering team with engine room watchkeeping, machinery monitoring, lubrication, and routine maintenance.

Position Available

• Oiler – USD 1,650/month

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with engine room watchkeeping duties
• Monitor machinery operating conditions and report abnormalities
• Carry out lubrication and routine maintenance tasks
• Maintain engine room cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Assist engineers during inspections and repair activities
• Follow engine room safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Panama Seaman's Book – mandatory
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Oiler onboard Bulk Carrier vessels
• All documents must remain valid for more than one year
• Previous experience working with multinational crews
• Availability to join immediately
• Relevant rank-specific certificates and documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Basic technical knowledge and strong safety awareness
