Oiler for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Oiler to assist the engineering department aboard a bulk carrier. The role includes machinery monitoring, lubrication, routine maintenance, and general engine-room support.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with engine-room watches and machinery monitoring.
• Lubricate and maintain equipment as instructed.
• Inspect machinery and report abnormal operating conditions.
• Support routine maintenance and engine-room housekeeping.
• Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as an Oiler, preferably on bulk carriers.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer's documents as required for joining.
