Oiler for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Oiler for a Bulk Carrier. The Oiler will support the engine department with machinery operation, lubrication, maintenance, cleaning, and engine-room duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist engineers with machinery operation and maintenance.
• Carry out routine lubrication and cleaning.
• Monitor machinery and report defects or abnormalities.
• Assist with planned and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain engine-room housekeeping and safety standards.

Requirements

• Relevant Oiler experience.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Bulk Carrier experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
