Oiler for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is recruiting an experienced Oiler to join a Supramax/Handy Bulk Carrier.

The Oiler will assist the Engine Department with machinery maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and routine engine-room operations under the direction of the engineering officers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with routine maintenance and operation of engine-room machinery.
• Carry out lubrication and cleaning of machinery and equipment.
• Support engineers during maintenance and repair work.
• Monitor machinery and report abnormalities or defects.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Oiler experience
• Bulk carrier experience is an advantage
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Relevant engine-room experience
