Oiler for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

An international crewing company is recruiting 3 experienced Oilers (OLR) to join Bulk Carrier vessels.

The successful candidates will support the Engineering Department with routine engine-room operations, machinery maintenance, lubrication, inspections, and general technical duties onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist Engineers with daily engine-room operations.
• Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machinery.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor machinery spaces and report defects or abnormalities.
• Follow onboard safety, environmental, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant sea-service experience as Oiler.
• Previous Bulk Carrier experience preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documentation.
