Job Description:
A shipping company is hiring an experienced Oiler for employment onboard Bulk Carrier vessels. The position is open to Indonesian seafarers with proven experience in the same rank and vessel type. Candidates should have experience working with mixed-nationality crews and on foreign-going vessels. Estimated joining is ASAP or October 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist engineers with the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
- Perform routine engine-room cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor machinery and report abnormalities to engineering officers.
- Assist during engine-room operations and repairs.
- Follow onboard safety, environmental, and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Indonesian nationality.
- Valid STCW 2010 certificates and seafarer documents.
- All documents and certificates must be valid for a minimum of 18 months.
- Previous experience in the same rank and on Bulk Carrier vessels.
- Experience working with mixed-nationality crews.
- Minimum 36 months of foreign-going vessel experience.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ready for joining ASAP or October 2026.
Employment Details:
- Contract Duration: 9 months for Ratings.
- Salary: USD 1,773 per month.
- Joining: ASAP / October 2026.
