Job Description:
Elburg is recruiting an Oiler to join a Bulk Carrier vessel. The successful candidate will assist the engineering team with machinery operation, lubrication, maintenance, and general engine-room duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist engineers with machinery monitoring and operation.
Carry out lubrication and routine engine-room maintenance.
Assist with planned maintenance and mechanical repairs.
Monitor machinery condition and report abnormalities.
Maintain engine-room cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Oiler
Bulk Carrier experience preferred
Valid Oiler certification/COP as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
