Job Description:
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is currently hiring an experienced Oiler to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel. The successful candidate will assist the engine department with machinery operation, routine maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and general engine-room duties while ensuring compliance with onboard safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with the operation and monitoring of main and auxiliary machinery.
Perform routine lubrication, cleaning, and maintenance of engine-room equipment.
Assist engineers during maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Monitor machinery conditions and promptly report abnormalities.
Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all engine-room safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Oiler
Bulk Carrier experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Relevant Oiler certification/COP
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
