Motormen for Oil Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Executive Manning Services Philippines Inc. is recruiting five Motormen (MTM) to join an oil tanker vessel. The successful candidates will assist the engine department with machinery monitoring, routine maintenance, and general engine-room operations while complying with onboard safety and environmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist engine officers with routine maintenance and repair of machinery.
• Monitor engine-room equipment and report abnormalities or defects.
• Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and other assigned engine-room tasks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow engine-room safety procedures and participate in emergency drills.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Motorman or in a similar engine-room position; tanker experience is preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the position.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Seaman’s Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Basic knowledge of engine-room machinery, maintenance practices, and safety procedures.
