Motorman for Gas Tanker / VLGC Vessels

Job Description

Wilhelmsen Marine Personnel (Philippines) Inc. is recruiting a Motorman to assist with engine-room operations aboard a Fully Refrigerated Gas Tanker / VLGC.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and cleaning.
• Report machinery defects to engineering officers.
• Support repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Follow engine-room safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.

Requirements

• Relevant Motorman or engine-room rating experience.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• Relevant experience on the required vessel type.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and applicable gas tanker qualifications.
• Proficiency in English communication.
