Motorman for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Navilands Marine Inc. is urgently recruiting a Motorman for its Container Carrier fleet.

The Motorman will support the engineering department with machinery monitoring, maintenance, lubrication, and repair activities under the direction of engineering officers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with engine-room machinery operations and maintenance.
• Perform lubrication and routine machinery checks.
• Support engineers during repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain machinery spaces, tools, and equipment.
• Follow engine-room safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Motorman experience
• Relevant engine-room experience
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant Container Carrier experience preferred
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Valid US Visa preferred
• Good English communication skills
