Job Description:
Lighthouse-Marine is looking for a Motorman to join a bunker tanker operating in Germany. The position is offered for an initial 8-week contract, with the possibility of extension. Embarkation is planned for the end of September / beginning of October. Further employment conditions are subject to company policy and the employer’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of the vessel’s machinery and equipment
• Performing routine checks and maintenance of engine-room equipment
• Supporting the engineering department with daily operational tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the engine room
• Carrying out duties in accordance with vessel procedures and safety regulations

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous experience as a Motorman on board vessels
• Experience on tankers / bunker tankers would be an advantage
