Master for VLCC / Aframax / Suezmax Tanker Vessels

Job Description

Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting an experienced Master for tanker vessels, including VLCC, Aframax, and Suezmax. The Master will have overall command of the vessel and be responsible for safe navigation, cargo operations, crew management, and compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining safe navigation and overall command of the vessel.
• Supervising cargo, loading, discharging, and ballast operations.
• Ensuring compliance with ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and company procedures.
• Managing the crew and maintaining onboard safety standards.
• Liaising with company management, charterers, agents, and authorities.

Requirements

• Valid Master CoC appropriate for the vessel type and rank.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seafarer’s Book and passport.
• Relevant tanker command experience, preferably on VLCC, Aframax, or Suezmax vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
