Job Description

Westminster Seafarer Management Philippines, Inc. is recruiting an experienced Master to command a tanker vessel and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant ship operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Taking overall command and responsibility for the vessel, crew, and onboard operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
  • Supervising navigation, passage planning, and bridge operations.
  • Overseeing cargo operations and tanker safety procedures.
  • Maintaining emergency preparedness, environmental protection, and accurate vessel documentation.

Requirements

  • Valid Master’s Certificate of Competency appropriate to the vessel and flag.
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
  • Relevant experience as Master on tanker vessels.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
  • Tanker-specific qualifications and endorsements as required by the employer.
