Job Description:
Nimbus Marine Group is urgently seeking a qualified Master for a short-term sea trial assignment in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for commanding the vessel during a 1–2 week sea trial and ensuring safe navigation and compliance with applicable maritime requirements.
The position is open to candidates of any nationality and any experience level, provided they hold a valid AMSA Australian Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master). The selected candidate must be available to join urgently.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Take command of the vessel during the scheduled sea trial.
Ensure safe navigation and overall vessel operations.
Supervise the crew and coordinate activities during the sea trial.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures and maritime regulations.
Support the successful completion of the sea trial and related operational requirements.
Requirements:
Valid AMSA – Australian Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master).
Any level of previous experience is acceptable.
Any nationality is accepted.
Valid medical fitness certificate and required seafarer documentation.
Available for a 1–2 week sea trial in Singapore.
Ready to join urgently.
