We are recruiting an experienced Master for employment onboard a PCC (Pure Car Carrier) vessel engaged in international vehicle transportation.
The Master is responsible for the overall command, safe navigation, operational efficiency, and compliance of the vessel in accordance with international maritime regulations, company procedures, and flag state requirements. The successful candidate will ensure safe cargo transportation, crew management, and full compliance with safety and environmental standards.
This position requires strong leadership, extensive command experience, and the ability to operate effectively within a multinational crew environment.
• Overall command and safe navigation of the vessel
• Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations including SOLAS, MARPOL, and STCW
• Supervising cargo loading, stowage, securing, and unloading operations
• Managing and supervising all crew onboard
• Ensuring implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) and ISM Code
• Maintaining communication with company management and port authorities
• Ensuring environmental protection and pollution prevention measures
• Managing vessel documentation and reporting
• Valid Certificate of Competency as Master
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Previous experience as Master on PCC or Ro-Ro vessels preferred
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Good English communication skills
• Valid passport and seafarer's book
