Master for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Navilands Marine Inc. is urgently hiring an experienced Master for its Container Carrier Vessel fleet, with 10 vessels undergoing takeover.

The Master will have overall responsibility for the safe navigation, operation, cargo handling, crew management, and compliance of the vessel. Candidates with relevant container vessel experience are required, while a valid US Visa is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain overall command and ensure safe vessel operations.
• Supervise navigation, passage planning, and bridge operations.
• Oversee safe container cargo operations and vessel stability.
• Manage the vessel's crew and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, HSE, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Master Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank
• Relevant experience on Container Carrier Vessels
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Valid US Visa preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Meet all qualification and experience requirements applicable to the position
