Master for Product MR / Chemical Tanker Vessels

Job Description

A crewing company is hiring an experienced Master for Chemical / Product MR Tankers with deployment planned for September / October 2026.

The Master will have overall responsibility for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, crew management, cargo operations, and compliance with applicable maritime regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain overall command and safe operation of the vessel.
• Supervise navigation, cargo handling, and deck operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, and company procedures.
• Manage crew performance, safety, and onboard discipline.
• Maintain communication with company management, port authorities, and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Valid Master Certificate of Competency
• Relevant Chemical / Product Tanker experience
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Relevant tanker certification as applicable
