Job Description
A reputable international shipping company is urgently seeking an experienced Master to join a Cape Size Bulk Carrier. The successful candidate will assume full command of the vessel, ensuring safe navigation, efficient cargo operations, regulatory compliance, and effective leadership of the onboard crew.
Deployment is scheduled for the end of August 2026, making this an excellent opportunity for qualified Masters with Cape Size bulk carrier experience.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain overall command of the vessel and ensure safe navigation.
Oversee cargo loading, unloading, and ballast operations in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and Flag State regulations.
Lead, supervise, and manage the ship's officers and crew.
Maintain high standards of safety, security, environmental protection, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Master Unlimited CoC (II/2)
Previous experience as Master on Cape Size Bulk Carriers
Valid passport and seaman's book
