Job Description:
Vessel Type: Handy Bulk Carrier
A leading shipping company is seeking experienced Masters to join its fleet of Handy Bulk Carriers. Operating a fleet of more than 130 bulk vessels, the company offers stable employment, excellent rotation schedules, and strong opportunities for career advancement. Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Ensure the safe navigation and overall command of the vessel.
Manage cargo operations in compliance with international regulations and company procedures.
Supervise all onboard personnel and maintain high operational standards.
Ensure compliance with ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other maritime regulations.
Maintain effective communication with shore management and port authorities.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Master Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Minimum experience as Master on Handy Bulk Carriers or similar bulk vessels
Strong leadership, ship management, and cargo operation experience
