Job Description
CSM Indonesia is currently recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers for immediate positions onboard Chemical Tanker Vessels operating on international trading routes.
The company is seeking experienced deck ratings and catering personnel with proven Chemical Tanker experience. Candidates must hold valid maritime certification, demonstrate proficiency in English, and be ready for immediate deployment.

Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to rank and company procedures.
- Support safe Chemical Tanker operations.
- Assist with cargo, mooring, anchoring, and deck activities.
- Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation work.
- Maintain deck equipment and operational readiness.
- Support galley, catering, and accommodation operations.
- Prepare and serve meals according to assigned duties.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Follow STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, tanker safety procedures, and company HSE requirements.
- Work effectively within a multinational crew environment.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Minimum 24 months of experience in the same rank onboard Chemical Tanker vessels.
- Valid STCW 2010 certification relevant to the applied position.
- Valid Certificate of Proficiency where applicable.
- Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
- Professional attitude and commitment to safe tanker operations.
- Physically and medically fit for sea service.
- Ready to join immediately.
Position-Specific Requirements
Able Seaman (AB)
- Valid AB Certificate of Proficiency.
- Minimum 24 months of relevant Chemical Tanker experience.
Ordinary Seaman (OS)
- Valid STCW certification appropriate to the position.
- Minimum 24 months of relevant Chemical Tanker experience.
Cook
- Previous shipboard Cook experience.
- Minimum 24 months of relevant Chemical Tanker experience.
- Relevant food hygiene certification where applicable.
Messman
- Previous shipboard catering or accommodation-service experience.
- Minimum 24 months of relevant Chemical Tanker experience.
