Job Description

Augustea Ship Manning Philippines Inc. is urgently seeking qualified and experienced seafarers to join its Chemical Tanker fleet.

Applications are invited for deck and engine department positions, as well as catering personnel. Candidates with previous chemical tanker experience and familiarity with FRAMO pumping systems are encouraged to apply, particularly for relevant pump-room and engine-department positions.

Deck Department

• Bosun – 2 vacancies
• Able Seaman (AB) – 3 vacancies
• Ordinary Seaman (OS) – 5 vacancies
• Pumpman – 2 vacancies

Engine Department

• Fitter – 3 vacancies
• Oiler – 1 vacancy

Catering Department

• Chief Cook – 2 vacancies

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

Deck Department

• Carry out deck operations, maintenance, and housekeeping duties.
• Assist with cargo-related operations in accordance with vessel procedures and assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain deck equipment, mooring equipment, and safety gear.
• Support the safe handling and transfer of chemical cargo where applicable to the assigned role.
• Assist with inspections, drills, and onboard safety activities.

Engine Department

• Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and associated equipment.
• Support the safe and efficient operation of engine-room systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and report equipment defects.
• Follow engineering procedures and applicable safety requirements.

Catering Department

• Prepare meals in accordance with company requirements and onboard standards.
• Maintain galley cleanliness, food hygiene, and safe food-storage practices.
• Manage provisions and support the crew’s catering needs.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the position applied for.
• Previous chemical tanker experience is an advantage.
• Valid Seaman’s Book.
• Valid Certificate of Competency or other relevant qualifications, as applicable to the position.
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the applied rank.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Familiarity with FRAMO pumping systems is an advantage, particularly for Pumpmen and candidates involved in cargo-transfer operations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an international vessel crew.
• Compliance with company safety procedures and applicable maritime requirements.
