Job Description:
We are currently recruiting experienced marine professionals for a Container Carrier (Merchant Fleet). The vessel operates on international trading routes with a standard deep-sea rotation schedule. The role involves working within a multinational crew in accordance with STCW regulations, company safety standards, and operational procedures. Candidates must be prepared for long voyages, port operations, and cargo handling support duties depending on rank.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Safe and efficient operation of shipboard systems and machinery (Engine Department)
Navigation, cargo operations, and voyage planning support (Deck Department)
Maintenance, repairs, and routine inspections of vessel equipment
Compliance with safety, environmental, and ISM procedures
Assisting in cargo handling operations and port turnaround activities
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant rank experience on Container Vessel or similar tonnage
Valid COC for officer ranks (Chief Engineer, Chief Officer, etc.)
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: Typically 4–6 months, rotation basis depending on company
