Job Description

Benteng Marine Services is recruiting qualified and experienced marine professionals to join VLCC Tanker vessels operating on worldwide trading routes.

The company is seeking experienced engineering and deck personnel with previous service onboard VLCC vessels. Candidates must have relevant maritime qualifications, valid seafarer documentation, and a strong understanding of tanker operations and safety procedures.

Previous VLCC experience is mandatory for all positions.

Open Positions and Salaries

Engine Department

• 2nd Engineer – USD 10,400–11,000/month
• 3rd Engineer – USD 4,500–4,800/month
• 4th Engineer – USD 3,700–4,000/month
• Fitter – USD 2,300–2,600/month
• Oiler – USD 1,700–1,800/month

Deck Department

• Able Seaman (AB) – USD 1,700–1,800/month
• Ordinary Seaman (OS) – USD 1,200–1,300/month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to assigned rank and company procedures
• Support safe and efficient VLCC vessel operations
• Maintain deck equipment, engine room machinery, and onboard systems as applicable
• Participate in maintenance, inspections, and operational activities
• Follow tanker safety procedures and company HSE requirements
• Comply with international maritime regulations and onboard safety standards
• Maintain operational readiness and work effectively within a multinational crew

Requirements

• Previous experience onboard VLCC Tanker vessels is mandatory
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience on the same type of vessel
• All seafarer documents must remain valid for more than one year
• Good command of English
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant rank-specific qualifications
• Valid passport, seaman's book, and medical certificate
• MPA Certificate would be an advantage
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
