Job Description:
Oceanic Star Shipping is urgently seeking qualified and experienced seafarers for deployment onboard various merchant vessels including oil tankers, bitumen tankers, bulk carriers, and container ships. The company is looking for competent crew members capable of maintaining safe and efficient vessel operations in accordance with international maritime standards. Candidates should be prepared to work in multicultural environments and perform duties according to rank and vessel requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Ensure safe and efficient vessel operations
• Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards
• Support crew coordination, reporting, and teamwork
• Carry out equipment maintenance and cargo-related duties
• Follow company and international maritime regulations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Relevant rank and vessel experience required
• Indian WK / COP / COC preferred
• Panama COP & COC accepted
