Job Description:

Oceanic Star Shipping Pvt. Ltd. (RPSL-MUM-506) is recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers for various positions aboard Chemical Tanker vessels.

Candidates must hold the required Indian maritime documents and have relevant experience in the chemical tanker sector. Applicants with a valid US visa will have an additional advantage.

Deck Department

• Master — USD 12,500–13,500
• Chief Officer (Ch/Off) — USD 10,000–10,500
• 2nd Officer (2nd/Off) — USD 4,500
• 3rd Officer (3rd/Off) — USD 3,200
• Bosun — USD 2,500
• Able Seaman (A/B) — USD 2,100–2,200
• Ordinary Seaman (O/S) — USD 1,300

Engine Department

• Chief Engineer (Ch/Eng) — USD 12,500–13,500
• 2nd Engineer (2nd/Eng) — USD 10,000–10,500
• 3rd Engineer (3rd/Eng) — USD 4,500
• 4th Engineer (4th/Eng) — USD 3,200
• Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) — USD 6,500
• Oiler — USD 2,100–2,200
• Wiper — USD 1,300

Catering Department

• Pumpman (Pmp) — USD 2,500
• Messman — USD 1,300
• Cook — USD 2,500

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing duties according to the assigned rank and departmental responsibilities.
• Ensuring safe vessel operations and compliance with applicable maritime regulations.
• Carrying out routine maintenance, inspections, and equipment operations as required by the assigned position.
• Following onboard safety procedures and chemical tanker-specific operational requirements.
• Maintaining effective communication and cooperation with fellow crew members.

Requirements:

• Indian nationality and valid Indian maritime documents.
• Valid Indian CDC (Seaman’s Book), Certificate of Competency (COC), and Certificate of Proficiency (COP), as applicable to the rank.
• Relevant experience on chemical tanker vessels.
• Rank-specific qualifications and valid maritime certificates.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• A valid US visa is an advantage.
