Job Description:
Stella Marris Shipmanagement Inc. is urgently hiring qualified crew members for a VLGC vessel. The company is seeking experienced maritime professionals who meet the required certification and medical standards and are available for deployment.
The following positions are currently open:
- Able Seaman
- Ordinary Seaman
- Chief Cook (European Cuisine)
- Messman
Valid US Visa is required.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and vessel requirements, duties may include but are not limited to:
- Performing assigned deck, engine-room, or catering duties safely and efficiently.
- Following vessel safety procedures, company policies, and international maritime regulations.
- Maintaining assigned work areas, equipment, and accommodation spaces in good condition.
- Assisting senior officers and crew members with daily vessel operations.
- Observing all applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements onboard.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Valid US Visa.
- Relevant experience in the applied position.
- Ability to work safely and effectively onboard a VLGC vessel.
- Additional position-specific certificates and documents as required by the company.
