Job Description:
You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant vessel operations while maintaining the highest standards of seamanship, navigation, engineering, cargo handling, and onboard safety. Each role contributes to the smooth daily functioning of the vessel and supports operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform duties in accordance with vessel type, rank, and international maritime regulations
• Ensure full compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company policies
• Maintain operational readiness and safety of vessel systems, equipment, and crew
• Support effective coordination between deck, engine, and cargo operations
• Participate in drills, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to a professional, disciplined, and safe working environment onboard
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates and documents relevant to the rank
• Previous experience in the same rank (experience on relevant vessel type preferred)
• Good command of English
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in multinational crews
• Availability for joining as per operational needs
