Hiring for LPG Vessel (Ghana)

Job Description:

WestCrew Marine is urgently recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers to join an LPG vessel operating internationally.

The recruitment campaign covers deck, engine, electrical, gas operations, and catering positions. Previous LPG vessel experience is compulsory for all ranks.

The opportunity is open exclusively to Ghanaian nationals who hold valid maritime qualifications, certificates, medical fitness documentation, and passport.

Open Positions:

Deck Department:

• Master – USD 16,000/month
• Chief Officer – USD 12,000–12,500/month
• Third Officer – USD 3,700/month
• Able Seaman (AB) – USD 1,600/month
• Ordinary Seaman (OS) – USD 1,200/month

Engine Department:

• Fourth Engineer – USD 3,700/month
• Oiler – USD 1,600/month
• Wiper – USD 1,200/month

Technical / Gas Department:

• Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) – USD 7,000/month
• Gas Engineer – USD 6,700–7,000/month

Catering Department:

• Chief Cook – USD 2,200/month
• Messman / Steward – USD 1,200/month

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing assigned duties according to rank and department onboard the LPG vessel.
• Supporting safe vessel operations, cargo handling, gas-related operations, maintenance, and daily onboard activities.
• Maintaining vessel machinery, equipment, deck areas, electrical systems, and accommodation spaces as applicable.
• Complying with LPG vessel safety procedures, STCW requirements, company policies, and emergency procedures.
• Maintaining effective communication and cooperation with officers and crew members.

Requirements:

• Ghanaian nationality only.
• Previous LPG vessel experience is compulsory for all ranks.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) and required endorsements.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport.
• Relevant qualifications and certificates for the applied position.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a professional vessel crew.
