Hiring for LNG Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

United Philippines Lines, Inc. is currently hiring experienced maritime professionals for LNG Tanker vessels.

The company is seeking qualified candidates for positions across the Deck, Engine, and Catering Departments for deployment between November and December 2026.

Candidates should have relevant experience in their respective positions and hold valid maritime certificates and documents required for LNG tanker operations.

Available Positions:

Deck Department:

• Second Officer
• Third Officer
• Able Seaman (AB)
• Ordinary Seaman (OS)

Engine Department:

• Third Engineer
• Fourth Engineer
• Fitter / Oiler No. 1
• Oiler / Motorman

Catering Department:

• Chief Cook – Indian and European cuisine experience required
• Second Cook
• Messman
• Galley Utility

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform all duties associated with the assigned rank safely and efficiently onboard the LNG Tanker.
• Support navigation, cargo operations, engine-room activities, maintenance, galley, and accommodation services as applicable.
• Follow company procedures, vessel safety management systems, and applicable LNG tanker safety requirements.
• Participate in safety drills, emergency response procedures, inspections, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain professional standards, good housekeeping, and safe working conditions onboard.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in the position applied for.
• Previous LNG Tanker experience is preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the position.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seaman’s Book.
• Valid professional certificates and licenses required for the assigned rank.
• Chief Cook: experience preparing both Indian and European cuisine.
• Good English communication skills.
• Candidates must meet all applicable company and vessel requirements.
