Job Description:

Inter-World Shipping Corporation is hiring qualified and experienced seafarers for General Cargo vessels. The company is seeking deck and engine officers, ratings, and catering crew for various onboard positions. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience on General Cargo vessels in their current rank, hold valid STCW certificates and travel-ready documents, and demonstrate good leadership and communication skills. Engine personnel should have experience with 4-stroke engines, CPP, and UMS, while Chief Cooks should have Chinese / Asian cuisine experience.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

Perform assigned deck, engine-room, maintenance, or catering duties according to rank.

Support safe and efficient operation of the General Cargo vessel.

Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs as required.

Follow onboard safety, emergency, and environmental procedures.

Maintain good communication, teamwork, and professional standards onboard.

Requirements:

Valid STCW certificates.

Valid Certificate of Competency/qualification appropriate to the position.

Medical fitness certificate.

Valid travel-ready documents.

Minimum 1 year of General Cargo vessel experience in the current rank.

Good leadership and communication skills.

Chief Cook: Experience with Chinese / Asian cuisine.

Engine Department: Experience with 4-stroke engines, CPP, and UMS.

Relevant experience for the position applied for.
